A post on mobiletechworld caught my eye today. According to the author, Windows Phone’s web browser, IE Mobile just refuses to show Google Ads or any kind of ads on the device. Microsoft has not mentioned it anywhere if they are doing this purposely to, perhaps reduce loading times a bit.
Microsoft’s non-trust in Google may be one reason behind this. Also, there is no need of getting a third party enhanced web browser as IE Mobile has built in adblock. Yay?! The redmond giant should understand that these ads are the bread of the site owners and thus should atleast give the user an option to show or not show these ads. [via mobiletechworld]
