That is why, an XDA user made a guide on how to easily create backups of your windows phone. After you have made a backup, you can easily restore from one of the backups made earlier.

Download isostore from here. To make a backup, start the tool and connect your windows phone to the PC. Also make sure you have zune running. Choose a folder to store backup by pressing Browse button and press the backup button. Wait for sometime and you are done.

Restoring the data is simple too. Just run the tool and connect your phone to your PC. Again, make sure that Zune app is running on your computer. Choose a folder to store backup by pressing Browse button and press the button that says “restore” and your data will be restored.
